About Me

Lisa is a self-taught Canadian artist living in Fort McMurray, Alberta.  She specializes in highly realistic portraits of wildlife and pets.  She has a unique ability to capture the heart and souls of every animal she paints through her precise attention to detail.

"The inspiration for my art comes from the natural world because to me there is nothing more majestic or fascinating.  For as long as I can remember I've been drawing, sketching or painting animals in their natural habitat.  The last couple years I have been especially focused on conservation and how to use my art to help in these efforts. Whether it's bringing awareness, donations or just a reminder of how remarkable it is to share our world with so many incredible species and that we need to do what we can to preserve their natural habitats.  My hopes is that when you view my art you are reminded of the amazing wonders in which we are lucky enough to share out planet with and feel motivated to help to."
